Measures at the Clinic due to Covid 19

It is important that you feel safe when you recieve treatment at our clinic. To ensure your safety and reduce the risk of infection, we have introduced a number of infection control measures at our clinic. We have developed clear internal routines. In addition, we have developed a procedure for what we do when an infection occurs.

Measures you want to see at our clinic:

  • Areas established for hand hygiene at the entrance to our clinic.
  • At least 1.5 meters distance between the chairs.
  • All magazines and other materials have been removed from the waiting zone.
  • Means for hand disinfection are available at the clinic.
  • Adequately calibrated ventilation with outdoor air.
  • Designed signs reminding you of our measures.

Measures for you as a patient:

  • We only treat patients by appointment.
  • If you have respiratory infections, are in quarantine or at home in isolation, you cannot attend treatment.
  • If you belong to one of the risk groups and still want to come for treatment, it will be at your own risk.
  • Arrive on time for your appointment. Avoid unnecessary waiting inside the clinic.
  • Avoid to use your phone inside our clinic.
  • Keep a distance from other patients inside the clinic, at least 1.5 meters.
  • Masks are mandatory both during treatment but also in the waiting area.
  • Use hydroalcoholic gel before and after treatment.
  • If you suspect that you may be positive for COVID -19 or have symtoms, please do not show up at agreed time, but let us know by email or phone.

Symptoms: Runny nose, cough (not chronic cough), acute respiratory distress (not asthma), fever, acute fatigue. If a patient shows up with symptoms, the therapist will refuse to treat the patient.

Measures for the therapist:

  • Avoid the use of a private mobile phone inside the treatment room.
  • We do not shake hands with patients.
  • We avoid close contact face to face if possible in the treatment situation.
  • The therapist opens and closes the door for the patient.
  • Only one patient will enter the treatment room. Any companion must wait outside, in the waiting area.
  • Frequent hand washing or use of hyroalcoholic gel.
  • ALL equipment and treatment benches are disinfected inbetween patients.
  • Physiotherapists always work with mask of degree FFP2.
